The first call came at 01:31. Station 1 was tasked to assist vessels in English Bay, which were dragging anchor and at risk of going aground. The crew responded quickly after departing, but before rounding Point Atkinson, they were stood down. The winds had relented, and the Coast Guard were able to secure the situation.
