Successful Rescue In Whytecliff Highlights Importance of Quick Response

Last night at 22:28, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) tasked Station 1 with assisting a boat adrift South of Whytecliff.
The weekend duty crew, who had had a very eventful long weekend, responded and were on scene with the vessel at 22:51.
After assessing that the vessel and passengers were in no immediate danger, a tow line was attached and the power boat was towed to the Horseshoe Bay Pier.
